Casio Edifice introduces a new connected chronograph
Casio’s “Edifice X Scuderia Alphatauri Chronograph” was created in collaboration with Scuderia AlphaTauri. In addition to high-performance technologies such as an integrated lap memory that records up to 200 laps, the focus here is on dynamic design and uncommonly good readability for all functions. Fluorescent green accents lead the gaze to the essential indicators, while the dial underscores the watch’s technological character through the use of 6K carbon, a diversely advantageous material that is also used in the chassis of Scuderia AlphaTauri cars. “6K” means that the material is made from 6,000 bundles of particularly tightly woven and thus even more resistant carbon fiber threads. The case, which is water-resistant to a depth of 100 meters, and the bezel with tachymeter scale are made of solid stainless steel. Not visible, but no less innovative, is Casio Edifice’s integrated Tough Solar® technology. Miniscule solar cells on the dial supply the energy to keep this watch running. Excess solar energy is stored in a rechargeable battery that accumulates sufficient energy to power the watch for up to 24 months in pitch darkness.
The new pieces in Schmuckwerk’s Alpine collection include rings set with diamonds and precious jewelry for the neck and wrist .
