The new pieces in Schmuckwerk’s Alpine collection include rings set with diamonds and precious jewelry for the neck and wrist
A three-dimensional relief inspired by the jagged peaks of the Alps, manually set with diamonds, has made the Alpine ring a favorite among mountain lovers ever since its conception. What began with the original Alpine ring has now grown into an entire collection.
Among the new additions to the collection this year, Schmuckwerk presents an even more precious variant: the Alpine Ring with three-dimensional reliefs on both sides. A total of 50 brilliant-cut diamonds adorn the cliff’s edges, while the upward curvature of the surface adds volume to this piece of jewelry. At the same time, Schmuckwerk has reinterpreted the ring’s classic design with a cliff edge. The ornate fissures here create a stunning contrast with the smooth edge on the opposite side. This newcomer sparkles with 24 brilliant-cut diamonds in the cliff edge and presents a single large brilliant-cut diamond (0.20 carat) as an additional highlight.
Mountains in the heart, the Alps on the wrist
Schmuckwerk’s repertoire includes more than rings. In addition to the rings, the brand also offers other pieces of jewelry inspired by the Alps, including bracelets and clip-on creoles. The former, which are designed to be moveable, allow the two Alpine elements that typify this collection to shine in the center. Twelve brilliant-cut diamonds sparkle on this jewelry, which is equally suitable to wear every day and on gala evenings. These pieces whet one’s appetite for the next hiking vacation. The clip-on creoles in the collection show off their Alpine panorama to best advantage when they’re viewed from the front or the side. They are similarly set with twelve diamonds. Another piece with Alpine flair is a necklace pendant from this Ratingen-based manufacturer.
