Ode to the Moon

With the presentation of the “Stratoscope” in the spring of 2021, MeisterSinger introduced its second timepiece with a moon-phase display. The Earth’s pale satellite is prominently depicted in photorealistic quality on the dial, which boasts a color gradient. The background is matte and deep black in this limited edition of 20 timepieces. The numerals, indices, hands and, of course, the moon all glow in the dark and stand out in stark contrast. The 43-mm stainless steel case is coated with dark DLC to match. The time is kept by automatic Caliber MS Luna, which is based on Sellita Caliber SW220, whose moon-phase module is so precise that the lunar indicator deviates from astronomical reality by one full day only after 122 years have passed.
